Semi-recently I set a goal to watch all of AFI's 100 greatest movies of all time. I have yet to set an end date for when I should accomplish this goal. I'm not sure if it's necessary or even a good idea. The hope is that I will enjoy the films deemed the "Greatest of ALL Time," not think of it as a task I have to punch away at. Right now 1 out of every 3 films I rent are from the list... not bad. So, tonight we watched The Graduate (#7) which puts me at 30/100 and at 9 of the top 10. It was a little slow in the beginning, but overall I liked it & laughed a lot more than I expected.

Yesterday night we watched DodgeBall which was short, but I thought it was really funny. Very NON-PC!! Ben Stiller's performance was a little wishy-washy for me, but I've officially become a Vince Vaughn fan!

Moving on. Today I created a budget. There are some semi-big things I want to purchase, but I want to still be able to get rid of my credit card debit... At the end of all the calculations I realized that deciding to get an engineering degree was a damn good idea!!

First off I'd like to get an elliptical trainer, we don't have a ton of room in this one bedroom apt, but I've become so 'whatever' about it here that I don't think I'll mind the decrease in extra space. Especially since I've already accepted the fact that soon Dave's probably going to have to bring a sound booth in here... then there really won't be any space. LOL. It would've killed me to even think of it a few years ago. Now there's the short (or long) WTF!!!!! Then I shrug my shoulders & laugh at it. It's much better, less stressfully and less likely of causing heart damage.

Lastly, Dave's birthday is on Monday, but I already gave him 2 of his gifts. I get SO excited I don't like waiting (a reason why I do semi-last minute shopping). I also don't see why he should have to wait to get something he'll really like & will enjoy using. Man, it's EASY to give when you KNOW the person will like the gift!! That's my idea of gift giving, not that obligated "I'm just going to give you something" method. Anyways, We'll see if I can get through tomorrow w/o giving him the last present... gl 2 me!

Man, I'm really rambling... time for bed. Good Night!
